Mission

Mission Statement: The Organization for Community Health Outreach (OCHO) is a registered 501(c)(3) service organization in the state of Maryland providing medical, social, and public health services to remote and impoverished populations of Central America.

Objectives:
The objectives of the Organization for Community Health Outreach are to:

  • provide health services to a rural population via medical brigade
  • finance and maintain a health facility for a rural and remote population
  • collaborate with local practitioners to develop a health services infrastructure
  • progress social and public health initiatives specific to the rural community which it serves
